What options are available for the mid engine Super Speedster ?

We are well aware of the dilemma that DIY builders traditionally have in sourcing correct parts for the completion of their special project.  We are also aware that because of their excitement the same builders tend to over-build their project with many options or features that either slow down the progress or bring it to a halt.

Knowing in advance  the correct fitting and performing parts in order to complete the mid engine Super Speedster would be a valuable resource.
